Ayurceutics, Chatsworth, CA, has launched TriphaLax, a traditional Ayurvedic formula that combines certified organic coriander seeds and Indian senna with Tri-phala, known in Ayurveda for de-toxification and di-gestion benefits. The laxative Indian senna has been known to cause cramping, so the company used both Triphala and organic coriander seeds in its formula to both soothe and stimulate digestion. TriphaLax does not contain animal-derived ingredients and features extraction using only pure water and alcohol, not toxic solvents.
